By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
If you do not accept these Terms of Service, do not tick the box and do not register a profile.
These Terms of Service describe the terms and conditions applicable to your access and use of the website. The ‘website’ refers to the Connectable (PTY) LTD website (www.connectablelife.com).). This is an online platform intended for the use of mind health, body health and wellness. Its purpose and role is simply to “connect” the practitioner with the client. Therapy/meetings/sessions will then take place through the website’s in-house, online, video portal.
The services include, but are not limited to, practitioners in the mental health, body health and wellness industries uploading a profile that allows them to create an online therapy space. Clients are then able to upload their profile and search for a therapist that best suits their needs and requirements. They can communicate with each other via an online chat/email service, book an appointment, pay, and then consult over the in-house video portal.
Anyone- practitioner, client and/or visitor that explores or takes part in any of its services, agrees to the terms and conditions laid out below. Use of the service will be subject to this and any other rules or policies that are published on the website.
By ticking the box, you are agreeing to a legally binding contract with Connectable (PTY) LTD and acknowledge and accept these terms- as well as any other terms under the Payment Policy, Refund Policy, Cookies Policy and Privacy Policy.
Connectable (PTY) LTD takes no responsibility for the interactions and/ or any result of the interactions between client and practitioner. All consults and their content and effect are independent of us- we are simply CONNECTING the parties.
If you wish to purchase a service made available through the Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct, and complete.
By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your ‘order’ at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to service availability, errors in the description or price of the service, error in your ‘order’ or other reasons.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your ‘order’ if fraud or an unauthorised or illegal transaction is suspected.
You may be accessing and using the website and services of Connectable (PTY) LTD as a practitioner, a client, a parent, a guardian, a company or simply as a visitor viewing the content that is publicly available. Throughout these terms, “you” or “your” refers to each and all of those entities mentioned above.
Connectable (PTY) LTD’s software, website and services allow for the meeting of client and practitioner. The practitioner is then able to provide live, one-on-one or group therapy through the website’s online video platform.
The services are available 24/7 and 365 days of a year.
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting Content to the Service, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service. You retain all your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Service and you are responsible for protecting those rights. You agree that this license includes the right for us to make your Content available to other users of the Service, who may also use your Content subject to these Terms.
You represent and warrant that: (i) the Content is yours (you own it) or you have the right to use it and grant us the rights and license as provided in these Terms, and (ii) the posting of your Content on or through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person.
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Connectable (PTY) LTD.
Connectable (PTY) LTD has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Connectable (PTY) LTD shall not be responsible or liable, directly, or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services, or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We will have third parties on our website to perform certain duties, such as, facilitate the platform, web analytics, payment portals, video platforms, messaging platforms, push notifications, technical maintenance, customer service, database management, email management, reporting etc. We are in no way affiliated to these sites and/or endorsing these sites. We are not in control of their cookies and/or privacy policies.
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Connectable (PTY) LTD and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the South Africa and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Connectable (PTY) LTD.
Connectable (PTY) LTD and its services are available only to, and may only be used by, individuals who are 18 years and older who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Individuals under the age of 18 can use our services only in conjunction with and under the supervision of a parent/legal guardian. In this case, the parent is responsible for all activities of the client.
All practitioners creating an online space will be required to upload the following information about themselves: name, photo, introduction video, experience, specialties, qualification and professional license/practice numbers and affiliations. All this information and proof of these affiliations will be visible to the public/ client.
Admin will do a background check on the practitioners’ credentials by doing their best to confirm that the license numbers provided are to be true and valid. Once admin is satisfied, to the best of their knowledge, that the practitioner has been honest, they will pass the verification test and their profile will become live and active.
There are certain bodies and fields that do not necessarily require an affiliation to a professional body or a practice/license number. All this information will be transparent to both the client and practitioner.
By providing the client access to all the practitioners’ information and credentials, we are hoping that this will make the vetting process a thorough, easy, and happy experience for all involved.
We, however, cannot control and are not responsible for any information provided by any client and/or practitioner. Furthermore, we do not endorse or make any representations or warranties regarding the reliability of the verification or practitioners/clients themselves.
Connectable (PTY) LTD cannot confirm that each user is who they claim to be. You agree and understand that you assume all risks when using the services, including but without limitation all of the risks associated with any online or offline interactions with other users.
Connectable (PTY) LTD relies on good faith efforts to confirm that what our clients/practitioners/users are providing in terms of their information and services is of a trustworthy, true and honest nature. We cannot provide any assurances regarding this. We urge you to use your own common sense when you provide information, services and in your general interactions with client and/or practitioner. Treat them in a way that allows you to protect yourself and your safety, the same way you would with someone you don’t yet know or trust in the ‘real world’.
We trust that you will go through your own ‘vetting’ process before deciding on a practitioner, the same way you would in the ‘real world’.Should Connectable (PTY) LTD suspect or hear of any inappropriate material being shared in any way, shape or form, or any misconduct on the behalf of either practitioner or client- we hold the right to remove you from our platform. We also hold the right to report you to the appropriate body or council should we deem legal action necessary.
Connectable (PTY) LTD reserves the right to utilize third party consumer reporting agencies that perform, among other things, criminal background checks, sex offender registry checks, credit checks, motor vehicle record checks and identification verifications should we deem it necessary. You hereby consent to us collecting and using this information.
NEITHER CONNECTABLE (PTY) LTD NOR ITS AFFILIATES OR LICENSORS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT, WHETHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE, OF ANY USER OF THE SERVICE. CONNECTABLE (PTY) LTD AND ITS AFFILIATES AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, INJURY OR DAMAGE ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
We also trust that no client and/or practitioner will attempt to move their meetings and/or consultations into a private space, cutting Connectable (PTY) LTD out. Should we learn of any such activities, we will be forced to remove all parties involved form our database and website.
Should a client be a no-show for an appointment; they will forfeit monies paid for said appointment. Similarly, should a practitioner be a no-show, client will be fully refunded their monies.
Client and/or practitioner are allowed to re-schedule an appointment to a time that better suits both should one or the other no longer be able to meet the original time.
If session is not marked as complete, then cron job will close it and specialist will get paid. Once the appointment time has started, it cannot be canceled or rescheduled. e.g., I cannot cancel a 5:00pm appointment at 5:10pm. Customer can set settings to auto-complete 15 mins post appointment, otherwise it will be done so by cron job 72 hours post.
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
Card transactions will be acquired for Connectable (PTY) LTD via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website.
Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details will be stored by Connectable (PTY) LTD separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site.

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Please note that you will need to check that the benefit you are trying to claim (counselling/dietitian etc.) is covered by your medical aid and plan. You can do so by contacting your medical aid provider.
You will need to pay cash on booking the consult and then claim back once an invoice has been received from your specialist. Please inform your specialist, so that they can provide you with the correct information for claiming purposes.
Connectable (PTY) LTD takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of services.
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current always. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.
You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than you without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar, or obscene.
Services are reserved for registered users on our website. You agree that you are responsible for protecting your login credentials from unauthorized use, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under those login credentials.
You may not create more than two accounts (one as a practitioner and one as a client) to access the website. You may not share your login credentials with any third party. Connectable (PTY) LTD is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by, or expense incurred by you because of, your failure to safeguard your login credentials.
The security of any personal data you choose to share within your account is subject to our Privacy Policy.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
Connectable (PTY) LTD does not take part in direct interactions between practitioners and clients.
Connectable (PTY) LTD does not have control over transactions between users except in the situations where regulation of payments and refunds need to occur and the monitoring of reviews and ratings.
Other than providing the platform, Connectable (PTY) LTD are simply connecting the parties. All interactions, meetings and therapy are therefore independent of Connectable (PTY) LTD. Practitioners set their own availability and rates. A percentage of these rates are retained by Connectable (PTY) LTD as a commission.
Practitioners signing up once the website is live and active will be charged 20% commission on each consult undertaken.
Example: Rate is 20$/hour. Connectable (PTY) LTD will retain 2$/hour at a commission rate of 10% and 4$/hour at a commission rate of 20%.
The commission paid will cover expenses such as: ongoing website upgrades and development; website hosting; fees payable to built-in services such as: video chat, message chat, financial services; online and digital marketing fees; offline advertising and PR.
By agreeing to these terms, you have understood and agreed to Connectable (PTY) LTD’s fee and commission structures.
Confidentiality for both practitioner and client are of the upmost importance. Connectable (PTY) LTD will not use anyone’s information for any purposes. If, for some reason, we need to use something for advertising, promotional, investigative and/or any other reason, we will not do so without written agreement from the parties concerned/involved.
Practitioners MAY NOT use any details or information provided by clients for ANYTHING and everything fed to them should be kept completely safe and confidential.
This website was created to be a safe space and any activity that threatens this nature will be deemed unlawful.
As a professional in your field, it is your duty and obligation to behave accordingly and to adhere to the rules, regulations and ethics of your relevant bodies and affiliations. Should anyone be reported to be behaving in any manner that threatens the integrity of the persons involved, body involved and Connectable (PTY) LTD, Connectable (PTY) LTD holds the right to bar your account and/or report you to the necessary body and/or treat it as unethical and illegal.

Before you give us your consent on the processing of your personal data or provide us with your personal data within any form on our website, we kindly ask you to read this carefully so we can be sure that you completely understand the conditions.

As a client, you will need to create a profile and provide us with limited information such as a name and login credentials.
As a practitioner, you will need to supply us with a name, photo, video, place of residence, time zone details, credentials, experience, qualifications, affiliations, license numbers, bank details and/or more.
Any of these details and or personal data will only be collected for the sole and intended use of the website and its services. Should we need to use or process any of your information for reasons outside of the website, its services and roles outlined within the terms and conditions, Connectable (PTY) LTD will inform you and nothing will happen until written consent has been given.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please check this page to ensure that you’re happy with any changes. We will post those changes on this page and update the Privacy Policy modification date at the top of this page. The additional notifications on any amendments will be sent to your email.

Having said this, we ask that you please come to us first with any grievances so that we can do what we can to alleviate the grievances, before going to social media with the issue and/or complaint.
Should we have any positive feedback, we would love to use this for promotional reasons- but will not do so without your consent.
